Australian Aboriginal Studies publishes original research on the cultures and lifestyles of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Content includes studies, research reports, news briefs, and reviews of books and films. Cultural Studies Review

CSR is a peer-refereed open-access e-journal published twice a year (in March and September) by UTSePress. It is available here.

International Journal of Critical Indigenous Studies

The International Journal of Critical Indigenous Studies publishes twice yearly across a range of topics in Humanities, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Law and Education in the field of Indigenous Studies. Indigenous scholars from around the world share common experiences of colonisation; approximately one third of the articles deal with Australia. Editrorial pages provide a style guide. Issues are available online, beginning from 2008.

Journal of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature

JASAL (ISSN 1833-6027) is a peer-reviewed journal, published in at least two volumes each year by the Association for the Study of Australian Literature. One of these volumes is a special conference issue; the other online in installments through the year as material is prepared. JASAL welcomes essays that consider Australian literature in all its forms (fictional, critical, print, filmic, and so on) and in terms of its socio-political and cultural contexts. Founded in year 2000, 12 issues of the journal are on the website.

Beginning in 1988, Australian Studies (ISSN 2042-5120), the journal of the British Australian Studies Association, covers a wide range of disciplines including geography, history, law, political science, economics, literature, the media, sociology, science etc. It is published twice-annually and issues since 2009 are available online..

Zeitschrift für Australienstudien

The Zeitschrift für Australienstudien, the bilingual Journal of Australian Studies, is published on behalf of the German Australian Studies Association. It is published annually and includes book reviews, review articles and articles on all aspects of Australian Studies, including comparative articles on Australia, New Zealand and Australia’s engagement in the Pacific. Articles can be in English or German.
