Der erste wissenschaftliche Workshop in Deutschland über Kunst und Kultur der Aboriginal People fand im Oktober 2002 in Kooperation mit der Aboriginal Art Galerie Bähr statt. Die Proceedings des dreitägigen Workshops sind auf Deutsch in einem Taschenbuch mit 175 Seiten, 24 schwarz-weißen und 5 farbigen Abbildungen erschienen.

2004 kuratierte die Aboriginal Art Galerie Bähr für die Städtische Galerie Reutlingen Spendhaus eine Ausstellung der Utopia Suite, eine Mappe mit 72 Holzschnitten aus dem Jahr 1990 von Künstlern aus Utopia. Die Holzschnitte wurden zum ersten Mal  außerhalb Australiens gezeigt. Zwei weitere Mappen der Utopia Suite befinden sich in den Sammlungen  der National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, und der Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.
Der Katalog (23 x 26 cm) enthält 21 farbige and 72 schwarz-weiße Abbildungen und 56 Textseiten auf Deutsch mit folgenden Artikeln:

The first academic workshop in Germany about the art and culture of the Aborigine People was held in October 2002, in co-operation with the Aboriginal Art Galerie Bähr. The proceedings of the three-day workshop are reported in 175 pages of text (in German) with 24 black-and-white images, in a 15 x 21 cm softcover book.

In 2004 the Aboriginal Art Galerie Bähr curated at the Städtische Galerie Reutlingen Spendhaus an exhibition of The Utopia Suite, a collection of 72 woodcuts from 1990 by Aboriginal artists. It was the first exhibition of the works outside of Australia, where they are in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.
