This painting depicts designs associated with the Mamupururnpa (Barking Spider) Dreaming at the site of the same name, situated west of Yuendumu. This is the spider which can be heard making noise after rain. The centre of the painting depicts the centre of the Mamupururnpa´s home, a hole in the ground with mounded dirt sides covered in Mulga tree leaves.
