This painting depicts a group of women dancing near Mt Liebig. The women who are sitting in five different groups are represented by the "U" shapes. The women sitting in the top left and bottom right are singing and waiting to dance, while those in the other groups are already dancing. The straight line in the central group is the kuturu, which is the ceremonial pole around which the dancing takes place.
