Revolver Springs is a special place on the eastern side of Old Texas Downs Station, in the direction of Turner (a station in N.T.). Two ranges of hills are separated by a deep gorge and creek which flows into the Ord River. Churchill Cann (Yoonany) used to muster cattle through this country and to camp at the spring. The Gija people used to fish and collect sugarbag (honey) here. The artist says the rock walls of the gorge are very beautiful.
