These are the hills that lie behind Warmun community. It is from these hills that Warmun community took its name. Warmun is correctly pronounced "Warrmarn". This is the Warranan Ngarrangkarni (Eagle Dreaming) site. In the Ngarrangkarni, the eagle flew over these hills with kangaroo fat in its beak and dropped pieces on the way. You can still see that fat (as white rock) on the hills today. In the foreground of the painting are large boulders which lie at the bottom of the hills.
