Exhibition held from 19. October 2002 to 10. November 2002
This exhibition of contemporary art by Aboriginal Australians, held at the Evangelischen Akademie Iserlohn (Berliner Platz 12, 58638 Iserlohn), was curated by the Galerie Bähr to accompany the first workshop on the art and culture of Australian Aborigines to be held in Germany.
We were delighted that such a successful workshop, allowing a deeper discussion of the art, was organised and we were very glad to take part in the lively exchanges about many different aspects of the art, culture and languages of the artists.
A printed copy of the proceedings of the workshop, based on the seminars listed here, will be produced in early 2003. Copies of the seminars (in German language) about the art and culture of Australian Aborigines can be pre-ordered by email.
